we sit down with you for a detailed chart briefing. Part of the beauty of sailing charter is that no two trips are the same. Based on your group’s particular interests, we help you to plan your route and ideal stop offs. Necessarily, we also look at the current weather conditions and forecast giving guidance on catching the best winds, suggestions for shelter, cautions and safety.
Some guests want to sail from dawn to dusk stopping only at the end of the day for dining and drinking, others want to trace the footsteps of the ancients and soak up the history of the region, and yet others prefer to moor up in marinas every evening to make the most of the local nightlife. Alternatively, you may want a yacht holiday where you stop for a swim every couple of hours. During the season, the winds in the Aegean blow prevalently offshore Northwesterly at 15-20 knots. This wind, the Meltemi, is usually at its best from late morning to late afternoon. There are no tides or strong currents. Summer is dry and hot, rain very unlikely, while Spring and Autumn are still very warm and sunny.
Our bareboat sailing charters give you the freedom to go wherever you like at your own pace, but you wont be left with no support. In the case of any rare technical hitches, our servicing team is on hand to assist you.
