Embark at Aura Yachting base, Palmarina, Yalikavak, Bodrum
Palmarina is a 5 anchor blue flagged marina with excellent facilities including supermarket, restaurants, shops, two swimming pools and a private beach club. All facilities are available to you. A short walk along the sea front and you come to the charming town centre, a pretty harbour-front with cafes and restaurants. During July and August it is bustling with life, especially in the evening.

Leaving Palmarina, Yalikavak, just west of the entrance is a rocky reef that is not always marked, care should be taken.
A large bay on approaching you will see an ancient citadel on the w side of the entrance with several anchorages or laid moorings leading to a jetty belonging to a restaurant. A few coves with anchorages and some laid moorings. On the shore side are the ancient ruins of Loryma.

A fjord type base close to Bozuk Buku, Serce is a very popular bay during high season. Several glass artifacts that were excavated from this historical site are now on display at the Bodrum Castle museum. There are some laid moorings at the restaurant at the north end of the bay.

A large and busy tourist town with an abundance of shops, restaurants, bars, and night clubs. There are several very well facilitated marinas here, plus anchorages in Marmaris bay.

A very scenic bay, steeped in history. Anchor at the west end of the bay, or at the jetty of the “My Marina” restaurant. Safely leave your yacht on the jetty and take a day trip boat along the Koycegiz River and visit ancient wall tombs at Caunos. Good all round shelter.

Small island with a beach. Anchor behind the island and take a line ashore. Not comfortable in a Meltemi wind. There are several hotels on the island and bars and restaurants open during the summer months.

Small picturesque creek. Mooring quayside or anchorage. There is a small restaurant at the end of the Creek, where you can get fantastic bread. Some ancient dwellings to be explored on shore.

Lying at the north end of a deep bay with scenic pine-tree lined coastline. Anchorage, or several restaurants have jetties for mooring. On the steep cliff sides you can see Lycian tombs.

A small creek with a restaurant. There are numerous ruins of the ancient boatyard along the creek that date back to Byzantine times. Can get crowded in the summer. Anchorage and dinghy to shore. Basic provisions available.

This is a small marina town that has been modernised over the last few years. It caters mainly to yachtsmen and is now very popular. The bay is surrounded by pine-covered hillsides. Mooring quayside or anchorages at the north end of the bay. Gocek has many restaurants and cafes, shops, bars, and a supermarket.

This is an interesting town and now a busy marina. Go to the famous fish market where you buy your fish from the fish stand and take it to one of the restaurants in the market square to have them clean and cook it for you. This is a busy town with lots on offer including supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. You can also take a bus to visit OIudeniz and the famous blue lagoon, and from there, a boat to butterfly valley. Paragliding is available here from Baba Dag mountain. Just behind Fethiye are several Lycian rock tombs. Marina for mooring.
