For all you true sailing enthusiast we have some super deals from mid to late October, the sea is warm and the winds variable giving some excellent sailing, still very warm in the day but cooling off in the evening to give you a perfect nights sleep.

We are getting many enquiries for 2009 and positive bookings, everyone is realizing that the early bird gets the cheaper flights these days and with fuel costs rising it really is best to get in early.

Getting flights have not been so easy this year from most European destinations, due to increased aviation fuel costs and lack of flights we have managed to get clients here though cheaply and via alternative routes.

We have had clients fly into Kos or Rhodes on the Greek Islands and take the ferry or hydrofoil to Bodrum also Easy jet are flying into Dalaman via Gatwick, there is a transfer time of 3 hours but with tickets as low as 21 pounds we think the transfer time is worth it.

There are also some charter flights running into November if you really wanted to get away from the crowds and moor up in a bay all by yourselves for a slice of tranquility and your own paradise bay, why not think of a late sailing holiday in November, Aegean Flights have some cheap seats for November direct to Bodrum.

The new additions to the Aura fleet, theJeaneau Sun Odyssey 43 and the Beneteau 46 and 37 have slotted into the fleet very nicely and are all having good charter seasons.

One of our favorite yachts Dougie T the Beneteau 411 is going to retire this year from the Aura Charter Fleet and join our privately managed yachts, still receiving the special Aura technical and maintenance treatment. She will be missed by many clients that have chartered here year after year.
